  1. im really sorry i know its hard when you loose apet there really like your baby

think of all the good times u had and know that you made Sammy the happiest dog and the most loved dog and i bet Sammy still knows you miss her

and the reason your probably crying is your having so much fun with your dogs you have now u want her to have that back

if you need someone to talk to email me

  2. I know, its a hard thing to go through, I have been through it before! Just think about something else, go shopping, do something you like!!! Go out to dinner, have a couple of friends come over!!! :]

  3. I'm so sorry.  Perhaps something that happened today, whether consciously or unconsciously, reminded you of Sammy

I know that by now you realize that she is at The Rainbow Bridge waiting for the day that will come when you see her again.

For now, she is forever in your heart, where she will always hold a special place.

Maybe you will find some comfort in this poem:

I Stood By Your Bed Last Night

I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.

I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.

I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care. I want to reassure you, that I'm not lying there.

I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "it's me."

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.

It's possible for me to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away."

You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew, in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say "good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning."

And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.

I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out ... then come home to be with me.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to you.

    EDIT TO ADD:

I'm adding some links that hopefully will give you some comfort, as well.  One is to the Rain Bridge and the others are places where you can put up a free memorial for Sammy and light a candle in her honor.

May Sammy rest in peace knowing how much she was and will always be loved.

  4. This is normal.  It has been ten years since my last doggie died and I still cry.  I cry for all of them (six in total)  They were and still are a part of me.  Enjoy the ones you have now. But keep the others in your heart.

The links HDB gave you are good.  I visit RainbowBridge.com.

I have attended several Candlelight ceremonies both for my pets and for pets of friends.  It is a good experience.
