I am really nervous about highschool?!?

i shudder at the thought of going there. I get really shy and nervous around people i have never met. Not nervous about being picked on because i have a mature look about me, so i look like a junior, but im actually a freshie, lol. But yeah, i afraid of getting lost, my highschool is SO big. And im also nervous about friends. Im afraid no one will think im approachable and talk to me. All of my friends from middle school are in none of my classes, which SUCKS. I start in a day and a half. Oh where did the summer go. Oh and do the freshman locker rooms always smell like sweat and grossness? haha, i went on a walk for my schedule around the school and the locker room smelled disgusting! And one last thing. Did you feel that highschool was like middleschool, and better to make friends in? or bad?

I'm glad your nervous about high school, becasue you should be. No, I'm kidding. Thoughts about high school ARE scary and it's okay to be a bit nervous. Because when you think about all the stuff you worry about, you get really happy when those things are the opposite of what you thought. Okay, I'll translate that into English. "I'm afraid i won't make friends." As soon as you arrive you have a ton of friends. You feel relieved becasue you fretted about the dumbest things. I mean, you probably are the most friendliest coolest person in your high school, so don't worry, you'll make it out just fine. Don't give in to peer pressure, stay off drugs and alcohol and you will be just fine. I wish you the best of luck and no, I'm not even in high school yet...

before classes, hang out with your friends&they will comfort you. im pretty shy too, but once you socialize youll realize its so much better than being quiet. so make lots of friends and be as approachable as you can be. for the locker thing, i think you should bring perfume haha. im in 8th grade, so i wouldnt know that question but i think its just like a bigger middle school. as long as you get to know people, you will get more and more friends. sign up for lots of sports and activities with your friends:]
