I am really nervous about starting high school??

Question

Can anyone give me advice on what it is going to be like and things like that!! I start school a week from now (August 13). Nervous about going to a Bigger school and not knowing everyone!!

This is all part of the movement through life. One minute you are like the cod in the little pool, next you are the sprat in the big river.

It's natural, however to be concerned, but you aren't the only person in the same position, and there should be some people there that you know.

Just be yourself, don't try and show off or be something that you are not, it will take a while settling into a new system and regime, but there will be people there to help you through the new challages, and possibly new subjects available for study.

After a while you'll wonder what you worried about when you've settled in with your new mates.

Enjoy the experience, treat it as a challenge that can be over come.

its gonna be fine and you'll be used to it after a few weeks! just try not to get lost and try to make new friends. go with the flow! good luck!

High school isn't that much different than middle school really. The first day will be nerve racking trying to find your classes and being with so many more kids than you were with in middle school. Try to find out if any of your friends will have the same classes as you. Seeing familiar faces will help you get through the first couple of days, by the end of the week, you'll know your way around so it'll be no big deal. Good luck in high school! BTW in my experience there are very few seniors and such that will pick on freshman so you don't have to worry about that either.
