Question:

I am really worried. My left eye is red around the iris right after I take out my contacts>>>?

my doctor told me not to worry about it, its the stress of taking the contacts out.

For me, there are no irritations, no itching, no pain whatsoever. Just the redness around the iris.

Could it only be the stress of taking the contacts out?

Or could my eye get some permanent damage?

I am a worrier so I don't know what to do.

It calms down though. Not always red.

Could it be my solution or that I changed my contact brand?

My mom says it could also be my bangs that are in the way of my eyes?

Should i just NOT WORRY AT ALL?

I just need some kinda assurance or something.

  1. dont worry about it....its nothing...

Its just the stress or becuse one of your eye thingys(cant remember the name)broke...bt that shouln't be a problem...it is almost caused by stress...you dont have to feel pain notto think its stress... dont worry!

  2. Ducks, don't be a hypochondriac, it tends not to be a good thing as it shall eventually lead to an annoying neurosis. If you are concerned about this and you would like a second opinion make an appointment with another optometrist and have them cheque your eyes. If they find nothing wrong, or can give you something that can reduce the irritation then it's all good and your worries came to naught. Life is an adventure and whilst it's important to always be pragmatic towards the upsets life thows one, it's never good to let it overwhelm one. We have nothing to fear but fear itself. Make an appointment with another doctor, get chequed out; and all shall move foreward.

    Cheers

  3. I would ask for a different brand, also make sure you clean your lenses every day and don't over wear them. Do not sleep in them.
