I am really worried and scared...PLEASE HELP

Question

why did i spot brown blood on and off for 4 days before i got my actual period?

i was supposed to get it tuesday (aug 5th) but it was brown from monday (aug 4th) to today (aug 7)....now its about 6:00 pm and its bright red but still kinda brown and spotty.

i miscarried in dec 2007 and have had irregular periods since, but nothing like this....

i am going to see my doc next thursday and because of all of my symptoms being pregnancy related she thinks i am....

i dont know why but i am soooo worried (prolly because of the nightmare i went through with miscarrying my first) that i wont be pregnant and ill have something wrong with me and will never be able to have children. i dont know why but i just have a feeling like thats why that are going to tell me. and i also have had a lot of irregular pap spears and have had scraping of my cervix done once but then everything was fine. (i just switched over to a really good ob, my blood type is O neg and this place is the best to go to, because my old ob, who did the scraping, never gave me rohgham (sp) and i wasnt happy he overlooked me like that and also didnt get all the blood out when i had my d&c and i got a really bad infection and had to go back for another 2 days later)

does anyone have any advice to possibly answer any of my questions or perhaps something to get through this next week, besides dont think about it, because its going to be a long one.

Periods do that sometimes . Don't worry.

If your D&C got botched you could be having scar tissue issues. That and stress and any recent lifestyle changes could effect your cycle as well. If your periods are irregular and the tests were negative, are you sure you weren't just ovulating? That could've caused all the spotting. Did you have s*x just before these days. If so, and if you're pregnant then it wouldn't show on a pee test just yet.
