I am redoing my bathroom and they came and installed the vanity today and I find it a few inches .?

to high, what is the so called average height supposed to be but, now with the tiles and the sink I think it may be to high they already attached it to the wall help what to do? without breaking the vanity it coast a lot of money ??

Vanities used to be approx 31" h as a standard, but the industry has largely moved to 34-1/2" high (kitchen cabinet height) because people prefer not to have to lean over as much for brushing teeth, washing, etc.  It is easier on the back.  Once you add a counter top, it will probably have a finish height of 36". This is pretty much the new standard.  If you want the lower vanity, it shouldn't bee too hard to detach it from the wall.  You can probably cut the toe kick are down or completely off to make it lower.  Or depending on how much you spent on your vanity, you can just buy a new one.  You have to determine which will be more cost effective - the labor to re-do the original, or buying a new one.  Or, you can just give it shot at getting used to it.  Good luck!
