  1. Ceramic tile would certainly work but can be expensive. You might also consider sheet vinyl or sheet linoleum. It's less expensive than tile and installs more quickly. Sheet products are better than vinyl or linoleum tile in a bathroom because there will be far fewer seams, and seams can allow water to reach the subfloor. Though you can install sheet products yourself I'd turn it over to a flooring pro because the stuff can be tricky to install properly, particularly in a bathroom.

As for that sweaty toilet, why not fix it? Here's how:

Sorry--I don't know how to fix your wet dog problem!

  2. I'd use big ceramic or stone tiles 16" or 18" square. A more contemporay way to install is with small or no grout lines so there's less grout to get wet or stained.

  3. when re-decorating home, bedroom or any other room, always try to choose colors according to feng shui. in this case you will activate powers of 5 elements (water, earth, metal, wood and fire) and support all your lucky "areas" - this will attract love, romance, wealth, money, prosperity, luck etc etc

    good luck!

  4. ceramic tile with groute.  Just make sure you put on a groute sealer, and repeat using the manufacturers suggestions, it seals out moisture.
