I am redoing my room --- a more Paris/France theme.?

Question

My room currently is very flavorless and annoying. I have found some photographs that are similar to what I desire. Of course, they will not be exactly like that, but suggestions, etc. are greatly accepted!!

wee wee, me amor ! or something like that. IKEA has some furniture like is in the pic. Or you could also go with the love look of paris? Plates and candles adorn many homes in france. Opers candle holders, painted china plates, of course the mona lisa? and a few statues would be nice also. Hope I helped????

They both are highly stylized plan to spend a lot of money or learn how to replicate the look without the cost.  I would suggest that the headboard of the second picture would take a skilled upholsterer to make, or cost a small fortune so go with the other style bed and use the stripes elswhere in the room. The mainly white room has a lot of class and could be  copied  more easily than the other.  The stipes in the lampshades could be accomplished by painting or using a spray adhesive for zebra striped material.

That is sooo cute!! You can get the black and white tiles from lowes... peel and stick are cheaper. and still look great! the head board can be made if you can get someone to cut the pattern out in particle board...you cover it in alot of batting and staple the material to the back. Paint whatever furniture you already have black. and the material store should have a zebra pattern there...just take a bottom off a chair and recover! it wouldn't be exactly like the one in the pic but you still got it. and clear lamp bases with white shades, i think you can buy those at walmart or target and if you want the fringes on the lamps just buy the type youlike and just hot glue it right on!!. Oh girl cute cute cute!!
