  1. Denatured alcohol will draw moisture out of the wood.


  2. Use laquer thinner or acetone.  Then sand.

  3. In the wood or in the finish that is on the wood?  In either case, sand. Elbow grease and sand some more.   Lots of sandpaper.   Do the whole table because you want an even finish (not being able to pick out the spot where you sanded for the "water spot removal".     What you finish is what you see.  So be sure the surface is perfect before you grab a brush.

  4. I have used mayonnaise before.  The oil in it helps.  My friend told me to do this and it works!
