A mask and goggles.....then a crow bar , hammer, nail puller, when done take a cool shower.......nice stuff on the face and body.....................If your strong rip it down by hand. good luck

Push a length of three by two through the laths, between the floor joist from below,then use it like a crow bar the longer the better. You,l be the first into the pub when,t jobs done..

what kind of sealing? if you mean ceiling a crowbar will do it but wear goggles.

Why take it down,Just over board it,Then tape and skim,job done.You save on cost of skip(£120) easy.

a crowbar, hammer or nailbar (and lots of dust masks!), try and seal off any doors to other rooms otherwise your house will be covered in dust, by the time you've got the ceiling down you will not be able to see your hand in front of your face from all the dust, easy job just very very dusty.
