I am researching White's of the Cumberland Gap area. Any info would be greatly appreciated; I will share.

I am specifically looking for (John) Sam White and Mammie Jane (Jenkins) White; they were my grandparents. They lived in the Claiborne Co., Tennessee area from about 1910 to sometime in the 1940's. any help will be greatly appreciated and I will gladly share my info.

    Wife:  Mamie, age 18, born TN

    They had been married for 4 years (abt. 1906)

    Children:  Clyde, age 2

    Arthur, age 8 months

    Sam's occupation:  Tracker layer for Coal Mine.

    Also living with them, Sanford Jenkins, Sam's brother-in-law.  He's 10 years old and was born in TN.

    WWI Draft registration:  Dated 9/12/1918
