Service from " Air Tel " is excellent. The unlimited access costs you Rs. 785.00 per month, which includes a telephone, modem rental charges of Rs. 100.00 and taxes.

You get the connection within 4-5 hours upon confirming of order. All your complaint ( which is very rare ) will be attended with in 4 hours, any delay beyond that will get you Rs. 100.00 as penalty for the delayed service. Any service interruption due to fault repair will be informed to you well in advance.

bsnl is your best option. tried and tested.

2nd best option can be airtel, if it is available in your area.

others like reliance, tata indicom are bogus. too many hidden cost. don't even think.

u can go on bsnl broadband......

it has monthly plan of  250+Service tax.. and modem rental 60..

it has speed up to 2mbps...

and its 1 gb download free.....
