was wondering where I should live. I lived most of my 24 years in West Yorkshire, near Leeds. But when I come back from Canada I wish to live somewhere else, preferably the north, with my husband. We are wanting a smallish town location.

Any advice would be wonderful!! By the way, we don't mind living in West Yorkshire again, if somebody can give us some location ideas.

  1. How about devon or in essex? They have beautiful scenery...As I live in london Im not sure about up north but I wish you all the best.

  2. Try Alton in north Hampshire, I have a Canadian friend who has lived there years!

  3. Have a look at Lancaster. It's a lovely town/city or there's Poulton-le-Fylde. Check them out they're both great and in Lancashire. Good luck.

  4. Move to Harrogate, you won't find a better town in the country.

P.S. You need lots of money to buy somewhere decent.
