I am round about 6 weeks pregnant now? When must I go for my first sonar?

I am confused because the one doctor said 6 weeks then when I phoned the other doctor today he said it's better to wait another 3 weeks? Then I am +- 9weeks.

Me and hubby is looking forward to it but don't know when to go.

I think it depends on where you live. Here in Scotland the doctor books you in with midwife between 9-11 weeks and then midwife books your scan for between 11-15 weeks. Congratulations on pregnancy x

it would be best to wait till 9+weeks as you will be able to see more and see the heart beat ect, in the uk we don't get one till 11+weeks

at 16 weeks your able to see what the gender of the baby is

and the fact that they look like a littlle baby :)
