I am running for Vice President of my school's Future Business Leaders of American club. Tips, please?

My first time running for officer or anything...

I'm planning on giving a short 5 minute or less speech to every business class individually, passing out candy, and posting flyers.

Anyone have any advice?

How can I actually persuade high school students to want to vote for me?

I think you should make a list of things you accomplished throughout being in FBLA and any differences you made to better society. Also what you sincerely plan on doing to help. anything that appeals to the audience and captivates their attention without boring them hah. maybe if you can relate to them too. be honest but not superficial.

i just joined FBLA in my school this year but we haven't had a meeting yet so i have no clue what it's all about hah. wish i could have helped more.
