ok

1. I have applied for language course in paris and have already paid the whole tution fee (its a 2 weeks course) and therefore have got an invitation letter in order to obtain visa (invitaion = check)

2. they have asked me for a letter from university to prove that I study in the UK (certificate of attendance =Check)

3. in the visa requirements they have mentioned that they MAY ASK for my bank statement of the last 3 months. Now this is what I am worried about, since I am a student my bank account in the past 3 months has always been in overdraft (always minus even though I had a steady cash flow and recieved a steady allowance from my parents) , but I am worried that they ask me for my bank statement and don't give me a visa since my bank statements show that I have been in overdraft. Is this a problem?? I am really worried and I have already paid for this course in france, plane tickets etc and I am worried not to get the visa !!

  1. CPG is correct. I just want to add that you wrote they "may ask". That does not mean that they will do. Since relations between EU & Russia are fine the Visa thing is just pro forma nad you will get it easily if you proof that you do not intend to stay.

  2. Ask your parents to send them their bank statements with an affidavit of support signed by them - just like you did for your U.K. student visa - and present the statement and affidavit of suppor if asked for them

    This is perfectly acceptable.

  3. Don't forget to give them the letter from University...
