The Nigerian footballer has urged the Moscow-based club to win the Russian Premier League and UEFA Europa League next season
CSKA Moscow striker, Ahmed Musa, has revealed that he is satisfied with his debut season at the Moscow-based club, and plans to remain at Luzhniki stadium in a bid to win trophies.
The Nigerian striker, who has made 11 Russian Premier League appearances in his debut season since joining the Russian outfit from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VVV-Venlo-c40915 last year, has cost reportedly 7 million Euros.
Media reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 suggest that the 19-year-old is set to leave the Russian outfit after failing to get more playing time. If speculations are to be believed, Rubin Kazan and Dynamo Moscow are reportedly interested in the
promising forward.
However, Musa has denied such reports, conceding that he has never given a second thought over leaving Moscow.
Musa went on to admit that he is happy to be a part of an ambitious Russian outfit and expressed his desire to win the league title along with the UEFA Europa League in the upcoming season.
Though the Red-blues failed to secure UEFA Champions League berth, they have secured European football after finishing 3rd last season.
“My first season has turned out to good for me. I am satisfied to be a part of a decent Russian team. I do not see any problem here. It took little time to adjust to the new environment and hopefully I will enter the field with
more confidence next season. I want more playing time and hopefully I will score more goals next season.”
“I have set specific goals for the next season. We will try to win the league title along with the UEFA Europa League. It will be great if I can win any individual award next season.” African Youth Championship winner was quoted
as saying.
The former Aminchi Football Academy player has assured the fans of some fantastic performances, and has urged his team-mates to step up next season. Musa has conceded that he is learning Russian language in order to increase his
interaction with the rest of the squad.
