I am scared of airplanes...i have to go on one...plz help...what do i do?

i am afraid of airlanes cuz once i got stuck in the bathroom and i freaked. now i am super afraid and i feel unconterable when im in one.

i have 2 go on two 2marrow.

what do i do?

  1. Well, if you are on a fairly short flight, go to the bathroom just before you get on the plane. That way you don't have to worry about the bathroom again. That will be one less thing to worry about. Other than that, just breath deeply and take along some music to listen to or a book you really love do distract you.


  2. airplane bathrooms are really uncomfortable and i'm sure that you're the only one who's been in that situation. but you shouldn't judge a plane by it's bathroom lol.  

    planes are the safest way to travel "period"

  3. hey there... try to concentrate on any other thing when you inside the airplane, talk to people sitting besides you or take small puzzles or games with you.. you can even read some books there,,,

  4. if you know a good book read it take your mind off it take a nap since you dont like the bathroom look out the window! how many times do you get to be that high? if your also afraid of heights just dont sit beside the window. hope u have a good trip.

  5. lol don't worrie about it try to sit in the middle or if your near the window just close it, don't worrie planes are safe you scared of turebulance don't be it requires alot of powerful wind to break of a wing of something orther than that don't be scared planes are fun after you get of them youll feal soo much better and try to read a magazine or something on the plane

It is important to note that when flying on a major airline, you are safer than on anything other than an elevator to get from point A to point B.According to the stats,the stairs in your home are 10 times more dangerous than flying. Being in your automobile is at least 266 times more dangerous than flying. The danger is not in the airplane, it is in the mind of the phobic. This is the point most phobics cannot grasp. They fall into the rational trap that if they feel anxiety, something dangerous is about to occur.

    If you have never flown and are fearful,that is the easist to treat as you did not develop the fear while flying. You have no traumas conditioned to the airplane. Your problems are to deal with anticipations not founded on actual experience. . So just take your MP3 player,take a good book and flying will be fun for you.

  7. Just listen to music or watch a movie. You could even read or talk to people.

  10. Um, how about pee before you get on, and don't use the bathroom.

    Problem solved.

    If you have to use the bathroom, just remind yourself that the chances of getting stuck in there a second time are slim to none.

    You know what I do, I just take a couple of dramamine and sleep through the trip. Dramamine not only prevents motion sickness but the original formula (not the non-drowsy)

    makes me fall asleep.
