I am scared to see the school councilor

ok so i need a little advice because i don't know how to ask her for some help or anything i have low self-esteem and i might have depression what can i do how can i ask??

  1. i had a hard time telling mine that i cut myself it is scary yes but u have 2 do it it's not really has hard as it seems trust me if i can do it u can 2 ok she can help u a lot mine helped me out now it's ur turn


  2. Good for you, you are making a wise move. It is the job of the councillor to help you. Lay it all out to him, or her, you don't have to ask for anything but help. Do it.  

  3. First dont worry i was like that when i first went to see the school councilor i was like that too you could maybe take one of your closest friends with you and just go inside the room and speak to the councilor you will feel much better once you have spoken to her!!!

    By the way can some people answer my question because it wont show up on the list and i need advice!! click on either one of them they are both the same! thanks x

  4. I was in your place a couple of years ago (sophomore year). I was scared to death to go see my counselor. I just went in to make an appointment. When I got there she asked how I was. I said that I was alright but that I had been pretty depressed lately.

    That got the conversation started. Don't be afraid. : )
