I know the name he was given at birth and i know catholic chrarities in St. Louis, MO took him and he lived at the orphange until he was atleast 15 months. (per my step-dad) Dont know if he kept his name or if he was given a new one. my question is, does anyone know of any good resources on the web to help me in my search for him. I know his birth date, parents name, his birth name and the organization he was given up too. other than that i know nothing. I would really like to find him, any advice. Thank you so much.

  1. Hey you answered one of my questions about my birth parents and all but I cant read it ........its not showing up it showed me the first three words than that was it can you email me what you said please!!! katesgoodlifemassage@yahoo.com or try to send again. thanks!

As for your question I started with adoption.com and you can look up birthdate and name on their if they are registered and post bullitins.  Then a private I for about 15 or 20 bucks can pull info up in their database and prob get you helpful info b/c you do have some vital info to point them in correct direction.  Im sorry im not much help im just trying to figure all this out myself good luck and ill let you know if I figure out any other info that may help you

  2. Try Adoption Database.  They found my mom and 4 brothers  :)

  3. Also try the ISSR (International Soundex Reunion Registry) you can also try adoptioncrossroads.org in the welcome email you get on joining there is a listing of search "angels" You said you have his name so there is that much, although not alot to go on, you also have the parental names and the date, do you know where he was born that can help as well. Adoption.com has a registry but I will warn you that is a not so good website. I would also suggest that you look into the state he was adopted from and see if they have a mutual consent registry. That is a registry where both adoptee and mother can register to make it known that they wish to be found. Origins-USA may also be able to help we do have some resources available for those searching.  This is the link to Origins   http://originsusa.memberlodge.org

    Good luck
