I can tell you this...the worst behaved kids in my room are allowed to watch anything they want (they come to school talking about things they watch) and the best behaved ones are the ones whose parents monitor their TV.  Now, that being said, those parents who pay close attention to what their children watch are also paying more attention to their children and are, in general, better parents....so...you have to look at that aspect, too.
