What state are you in?  I have a good dental plan that works in most states.  Get's you half off all your dental.  I've found it to be WAY better than insurance.  I know they offer business/group plans for about $40 a year (and that includes your whole family).  I double checked, so I know I'm not wrong on that...  Anyway, check them out..  It just might be worth it.  Savon Dental Plan is the name..  The link to thier site is below..  Oh, you'll have to call for group plan rates cus I don't think they list that info on thier site.  Good luck!

I work part-time and I just pay out of pocket for my cleanings. Dental insurance through my employer is $10 a check, but my cleanings are $105, so I actually save money by paying for it myself. You can also claim it as a medical expense on your taxes each year and get a portion back.

Most of my employers haven't offered me dental coverage (ironic, isn't it?).   And I haven't seen a private policy that pays out more than it takes in.
