  1. Yes, if you get a 4.0 your sophomore, junior, and senior years, colleges will see a 3.7 or higher.  I'm not sure if most colleges look at your freshman year grades.  They pay more attention to each progressive year (I had a 2.6 one semester sophomore year and I got into a really good school and went there).

If you get a 4.0 for the next three years, and you have advanced placement courses, and if you do well on your SATs and write good application essays, you should be able to go to pretty much any school you want---though it also depends on how well-regarded your high school is a bit.

  2. the GPA the colleges see is the one from all four years, but they really focus on sophomore - senior, thinking that freshmen year was a getting used to HS year.  If you're a senior now and get 4.0s, that would be great.  But they won't see your last semester because applications already go out by then.  Junior year is really the most important.  If you pull straight As junior year that would help you a lot.

  3. that is impossible....

my friend died trying to do that.

  4. it would be 3.725. they would add all GPA's from each semster and then average them out (add them all and the divide by 8 since there is 8 semesters in your high school career). hope that helps

  5. ummm... i would luv to help u but i am not in college yet . so i have no clue . sry .

  6. Most colleges will look at your final GPA, and that all depends on your grades in senior year.  They also consider your SAT and/or ACT scores, as well as how well-rounded a student you are.

    Good luck

  7. It would be 3.725

but remember getting into college involves more then perfect grades

volunteer, do after school activities, and do well on ur SAT and you will be fine

  8. HUH!!??

  9. What?

  10. it depends how the person feels when reading... they may look at SAT, the first 2 yrs of high school, credits only, your essay , your attendance, it depends you have nothing to worry about you have a god had on your shoulders

  11. see ur school counselor or the counselors of the colleges u want to attend. they will give you the best answer for what u need.
