im sick of men too... they dont appreiaciate girls. smart ones for that matter. if they dont hook up with them they go to da next one. this sucks.. im reallly sad rit now=(

Then men have 'won'. If you turn yourself off to anyone, you're saying you are made of weaker stuff. It's the first sign of old age; the shock will be recognizing someday that it started that early. The trick is to learn the lessons you can, yes, but then after you grieve for yourself a bit (go on  -  you deserve it) to open yourself right back up again, even if that someday leads to pain again. You see, geting all fetal-scrunched has its purpose  -  for awhile. Given that, you know as well as I do that tightening up will only, can only, lead to missed opportunities and no guarantee whatsoever you won't get burned again.

Let's say you and I meet. I like you, but your past has led you to not trust any man. Not so unreasonable, but I sure as h**l didn't do you wrong. And I have a past too; there's a woman who says I'm one lousy s.o.b. Maybe, maybe not. I might need a woman who doesn't judge me, and have some bitterness of my own. So now I'm going to be assigned as Your s.o.b. and I haven't ever had a chance and just don't know it? Later days, chick, and I'm sorry for us both.

I'm fifty now with a long long string of women in my past, and was married, once, for fourteen years. Even those that did me wrong I thank the spirit for, as much for that they tried as it was for the good we had together. No, no regrets. Doesn't mean I put up with c**p that confused me when I was younger. Always loved the hotties  -  that has its own special problems  -  but they had to have warm eyes and a mind of their own, and a switchblade, for me to pay attention to them. I learned not to take c**p from a girl who thought she was all that and could pull it off. But in the end? It was fun, I love you all, and no hard feelings for things not always working out. And to you Lisa, wherever you are, sorry I had you deported.
