I am sick with diarrhea help?

i've been having diarrhea for awhile now. I took pep-to bismol but that really didn't help. I hear that biting nails causes diarrhea, i have always been biting my nails, i even bite my toe nails which i am ashamed of. Could that be the cause?

Uh, biting nails? No. I bite my nails and I almost never have diarrhea. So, that's not why.

the only reason why they say bitting nail can cause that is because of certain bacteria that can be under nails toes or fingers. but i would just go to the urgent care close by or wait for a doctors appointment...they can give you blood test or a stool test.
