Due to alot of Nascar team's and Nascar people being located in and around the area home's and/or apartment's aren't too cheap around there.

I live in south Charlotte just off of I-77 at Nations Ford Road exit 4. I have a small 1 bedroom about 450 sq. ft. for $450/month. Management is wonderful here. Its not the greatest neighborhood but not the worst either. You are literally seconds from I-77. There is a grocery store and Dollar General about 1/2 mile away. Oh, name of the complex is Tree Top Condominiums. Its not called Tree Top for nothing. Lots of trees and privacy. Not condos. Just rentals. I've been here since April and have been very comfortable. Fridg, electric stove, dishwasher and water included. My electric runs less than $30/month. Hope this helps and good luck in your search......Ginny

Good Luck. Apartments like everything else in Charlotte are sky high.

If you DO find a cheap apartment, check with the Police Station and do a crime report of the area.
