  1. airplanes are pretty safe so you have nothing to worry about

  2. First of all - there are more car crashes and people gt hit by more cars crossing the street then airplane crashes. They are very safe.  Take an ippod, dvd player or good book with you to keep you occupied. I fly all the time and I am still around to fly some more.  Remember you are safer in the air then on the ground.

  3. ok ur death is already planned so if the plane crashes and evryone dies except for u that means it wasnt ur time to die yet. because thats not how u were planned to die.

  4. Your odds of being in an airplane crash are way less than being in a car crash.

    Don't worry about it.

  5. Calm your self down and tell your self everything is going to be okay just think of land when your on the air or act as if there is agreen screen out side of the window with clouds or your bouncing on some cotton

  6. think of how many flights there are everyday that get to their destinations safely. and how many crashes there have been. maybe like 2-3 commercial jet crashes in the past 10 years compared to like thousands and thousands of safe flights. i mean if flying were as risky as driving, there would be warnings everywhere and so few people would fly. i mean, for a lot of people it's their jobs to fly, and so many business people fly constantly. so if i were you, i wouldn't worry about it. if you're still nervous on the plane, take something that'll calm you down or listen to music or read a book, etc. and don't worry if there's turbulence, it's perfectly normal. don't worry you'll be fine! distract yourself or sleep during the flight.

  7. stay awake for a while before and just pass out on the plane...or have a bunch of beer at the airport

  8. I was so afraid to fly for a long time.Then I had to go on a trip to Japan,was on the plane for many hours.Now I love to fly,every week I fly some where with my job.Have never had any close calls.Airplanes are really pretty safe.I know this won't be easy for you to do,but try to relax and enjoy your trip!

    Have a nice journey!

  9. Speaking as someone who is not a big fan of flying, I find this thought process helps me.

    Think about it;

    How many planes full of people fly everyday?

    How often do you hear of plane crashes, compared to other vehicles? It is very rare, admittedly.

    I also recommend you read this. It gives you an idea of what to expect while you fly on a typical flight, so you know what to expect.

    If you don't feel reassured, make sure you tell a parent/person you are travelling with.

  10. My daughter was very afraid to fly when we went on vacation.  Her doctor prescribed her some medication to calm her nerves.  Have your parents talk to your doctor about it.  A lot of people are afraid to fly on airplanes so it is normal.
