I was at a restaurant and when the waiter brought our food we said, "for you, sir" to me and I'm not a man! I really love that restaurant but was highly offended. Should I go back?

  1. quit taking male steriods now!!!

  2. What I would do, would be to go back there on a day when you know that certain waiter is there. ( or a random day untill you see him. ) Dress really s**y you know, feminem with maybe smoky eyes and cherry lips. Let him see you and realize his mistake.. That would be SO funny!

  3. dont worry about it. they deal with ppl all the time! it just slipped out. i work as a server n I'm always saying the wrong thing. i have greeted the table asking "can i get you ladies something to drink?" and there were men there. i was embarrassed n fortunately the men just laughed it off. its not a big deal. I'm sure he wasnt thinking  you were a guy.

  4. Is it possible that he just slipped and that it was an honest mistake?  Do you look like you could be mistaken as a man? I would imagine that if you look like you could be mistaken for a man that you would have heard this before.  Since I am guessing you haven't, I would imagine you don't look like you could be mistaken for a man in which case I would think that it was really just a mistake on the waiters part.  Were you with a man?  Maybe  he was looking at him and it just came out on mistake?  I don't think that you should not return just because of this one mistake by one waiter, especially since you really love that place.  If your really upset about it, it is possible to return to the place and just request that waiter is not your waiter.

  5. they could have just said the wrong word like you know not that you look like man

  6. Do you look like a man? Be honest now.

I once called someone "sir" who turned out to be a lady and she got totally pissed. It's not my fault she looked like a guy.

If you do look like a man, and don't care to, I recommend changing your look. Get your friends or hair dresser to help you with this.

  7. Go back. I know how annoying that is. I drive a pick-up and sometimes cut my hair very short during warm weather. I also have a unisex name and 9 times out 10 when I go to the drive-thru at the bank the teller says "Thank you Mr. _____" after finishing my transaction. Everything I take to that bank has both mine and my husbands name on it and they still call me "Mr.".........I've learned to live with it and look at it as THEIR problem, not mine.

  8. I'd go back it was probably a slip of the tongue or something

  9. maybe he was nervous and he made a mistake, it happens. if you like the food and the restaurant then i would go back. if he does it again then i would just correct him politely. maybe your good looks sent him in a tizzy and that would be a great compliment. i myself get nervous around very attractive women. =)
