I am so fustrated and annoyed?

My cousin is 9 and he is so freakin lazy ever since he woke up at 11 this morning he has been playing video games and watching TV non stop. He refuses to leave the house for anything not even candy. My dad told him that if he doesnt go outside then he isnt taking him to Gamestop and he was like well i can just order the games online because his mom taught him how and he has card numbers and all that jazz. Im dying of boredom and i cant leave the house without him. What am i supposed to do?

turn off everything that he can get his eyes and hands on.  anything else after that is fair game.  just tell him that there are things to do.

Your Dad should just turn off the TV and the computer and tell him to get outside.  Since when does a 9 year old get to make those kinds of decisions?

WOW.. As you had tried earlier, BRIBE HIM. Maybe candy won't work but what about going to a store and getting him a new video game, or going to the mall and doing something fun? TRY ice cream or another sweet. Maybe even offer money! If he's nine then he may go for a smalll price! Good Luck

You're the grown up in this situation. Unplug the TV and force him to leave the house. Don't hurt him, though.

If you can't lead him out the door, I would force the issue.

Privately talk to your father about stepping in and making an issue of this and why. Not only is this unhealthy, but he sounds like he is a bit rebellious to say oh well about the Gamestop thing he can just order his own.

Your father can set some ruls about X amount of time outside or doing other stuff allows him to play the video games or watch TV. I think pulling the plug will fix the problem quickly.
