I am so mad at RAMA for leaving Sita in the jungle.

I can't stop crying every time I watch Luv Kush. I am so mad at Ram for leaving Sita in the jungle. I mean just over a few comment of people he left Sita even though he knew she was pure. She loved him dearly and he betrayed her. She suffered all the sorrow for his sake and he didn't do the same. Why did he ruin her destiny? Why did he give up his wife? Why couldn't he just leave the kingdom and go along with Sita?

  1. This question is really very typical. Of course, it involvedthe duties in respect of himself, in respect of family, in respect of society & in respect of kingdom. As Ramma involved number of responsibilities, as person, as a husband, as a common citizen and as well as as ruler of kingdom too. No question arised what are the moral values involved in different roles simultaneously wit a person? Since he was the gurdian of a people of his kingdom so he choose the path of collectivety involved nuber of person instead of individuality. He give a lesson/ messege to yhe society that indiviuality has to be scarfy over the collectivety for the intrest of the society, for the intrest of kingdom and as well as for the masses.  So Rama acted like that.

I hope you will find some of the reasons if not all about your question.

    With regards

  2. ok ... you have problems

  3. thank god....u've realized it so early..

  4. oook...this is creepy...face it kid the world is cruel

  5. Hi dude, its just a mythologiacal story. 1st Rama was a King then after somebody's hubby. King is belong 2 nation n its people. He left Sita cuz people r gossiping about her character after lived without her hubby for some years.Rama gave up his wife for people's sake. He sacrificed her on the name of the nation and people.

  6. If Rama had not left Sita in jungle,Ramayana would have not been happened.Being a king of Ayodhya he could not go along with Sita.

  7. he left her because he did not want a taint in his character as  a king... he did that to be a good king... i really hate rama for this act of leaving sita... for the world... i mean while marrying did he take the responsibility of sita or world... it is hateful... if gods cant give even respect to lady like sita.. how could men.. sorry if i sound rude....

  8. Its just a mythological story in the pretext of the mental state of the people of those days. People of that era would like to see this as a great dedication of a king. So no need to be worried for this. Just try to extract the goodness of the myth.

  9. will make a  time machine in couple of years, we can then go and ask HIM

  10. 199: Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu then went to Setubandha [Ramesvara], where He took His bath at the place called Dhanus-tirtha. From there He visited the Ramesvara temple and then took rest.

200:There, among the brahmanas, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu listened to the Kurma Purana, wherein is mentioned the chaste woman's narration.

201: Srimati Sitadevi is the mother of the three worlds and the wife of Lord Ramacandra. Among chaste women she is supreme, and she is the daughter of King Janaka.

202: When Ravana came to kidnap mother Sita and she saw him, she took shelter of the fire-god, Agni. The fire-god covered the body of mother Sita, and in this way she was protected from the hands of Ravana.

203: Upon hearing from the Kurma Purana how Ravana had kidnapped a false form of mother Sita, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu became very satisfied.

204: The fire-god, Agni, took away the real Sita and brought her to the place of Parvati, goddess Durga. An illusory form of mother Sita was then delivered to Ravana, and in this way Ravana was cheated.

205: After Ravana was killed by Lord Ramacandra, Sitadevi was brought before the fire and tested.

206: When the illusory Sita was brought before the fire by Lord Ramacandra, the fire-god made the illusory form disappear and delivered the real Sita to Lord Ramacandra.

207: When Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu heard this story, He was very pleased, and He remembered the words of Ramadasa Vipra.

  11. All makes mistakes. BJP is also makin mistakes. You are also making mistake.  This is story. Ram Setu is also story.

  12. Rama is a responsible king. he is incarnation of lord Vishnu who came to earth to maintain Dharma over here. how can he give up his throne?

this incarnation aims at teching people how to lead a self less life for the sake of his people. so he had to leave sita whom he loved dearly for the sake of Dharma. As u said that u watched LavaKusa, even Rama felt the pain of leaving Sita. He could not enjoy either with his wife nor his children. he sacrificed his life for the sake of Dharma and for the people. so u need not blame Rama for this. you should blame the washer man for interfering into some one's personal issues.

  13. Thats why i could never relate to and worship Ram.  I find no justification as how he can listen to a dhobi and throw out Sita Ma.

But kudos to Ma Sita for not joining him in the end and asking mother earth to swallow her up !!

  14. Arjuna says...If you have more than one personality within yourselves then you should first judge who you are otherwise such a person gets destroyed by internal clashes of his personality.

Any religious, spiritual or superhuman type person has a level of parallel thinking which is one step higher than common people's thinking. Ram had a lot of personalities within himself bcos he was above the crowd.

But he had from the beginning accepted his most inner personality as Maryada Purushottam and not Avataar of love like Lord Krishna. Hence Lord Shiva and other heavenly Gods & Rishis worshipped and addressed him as Maryada Purushottam whenever they came across Him. Bcos Heavenly Gods and Rishis have an ability to know our internals so they came to know that Rama is a well defined personality of Maryada Purushottam and so he is for all. It is also know as religion of Satya. Satya is a religion usually followed by heavenly Gods and very high levelled Hindu personalities like Bhism,Harishchandra,Pandvas,All Satis, Ram etc. Harishchandra for sake of this Satya sacrificed his wife and son, Pandavas did an absurd act of marrying Draupadi just to maintain the Satya Religion "You 5 divided whatever brought" as told by Kunti. Lord Rama was at post of King. People blamed him as Stri Lampat i.e. excessively addicted to his wife or woman. Now he was in pressure.

Rama who loved Sita in solitude told himselves - I will leave this kingdom and go away with Sita in forests.

Another Rama who was a King- Ignorant masses think Sita is not pious. If Rama(Superstar of that time whom childrens and ordinary masses followed...of course their subconscious minds follow not conscious just as today our subconscious minds follow actors and heroes...during that time Kingly personalities were most influencing after the Devtaas in temple) will accept Sita the tradition of accepting impious ladies will become prevalent in society. Youths will give example of Rama to satisfy their lusts. Although RAM-Sita love was pure but all people are not alike. And for many people if something is seen then it is yellow. Just as we see in initial stages in Hindi film industry swimming costumes with square shaped base were prevalent. Later some development occured and V shaped swimming suits from below became prevalent and in latest !! "Y"  !! shaped swimming suits are becoming prevalent. This is for India. Foreigners have crossed all this limits and nudity is acceptable there now. We will soon be heading towards the same just as the government gives acceptance for s*x education. You will be surprised but a lot of people in India do not know that in Germany  and many other countries nudist beaches are prevalent where not only Men and Women but also small children are roaming on beach and that also nude. If our BJP Politicians would know this they would surely do something to stop progress of this decline. However one good thing is that even though parents are nude with their children on this nude beaches no s*x is allowed there and if anyone is seen doing something wrong then they are punished by law! No need to say the approvers of s*x education are again going to implement the same in India after their launch of s*x education gets successful. When this nudists are asked why they do this they say it has a +ve result. Childrens become more modest and this and that just as the government is pointing on benefits of s*x education today. Situations is quiet horrible for good and religious people but they need to unite soon rather than fighting otherwise the entire earth will be a ditch. All Good Hindus,Muslims  & Christians should unite and forget their mutual differences otherwise India become Europe with nude beaches , s*x education, unofficial practicals & what not?. May be Lord Rama was aware of this decline graph. So is every religiously awakened person aware. The darkness in minds of Ayodhyawasi was the fault which was a result of ignorance but Lord Rama had no means to eradicated this ignorance hence as a King he had to take the strict decision of divorcing his wife. How hardly his heart pained only he knew. There is also another Lok Katha. A Brahmin saw that a great calamity was going to come on village. He told only way to avoid it was to give sacrifice of a newly wed bride. Senapati was living in that village and was just wed and loved his bride beyond imagination. But for sake of saving his village on the day of his first night when his bride was waiting for him he just cutted his head without even touching his body and the calamity which was to come upon the village setted back. However the bride remained there in form of ghost for many hundred years but the village was saved. Niyati is too strong. People like Rama are not made for only one. They have several responsibilities. His entire Praja or masses were his sons and his prime duty was to protect them and care for them.

Third hidden reason - No one knows and no one believes

It was the matrix of Lord Vishnu. Sita prayed to God that she wanted to live eternally with Rama in heaven. So to annihilate Ravana Lord Vishnu or God residing in heart arranged the matrix which started from Ravana sending Marichi to Panchvati. Entire matrix was performed by Ravana but at will of Lord Vishnu. Now as per Lord Vishnu's matrix, Rama was successful in winning back Sita. But Ravana died a crued and miserable death. So seeds of sympathy & slight pity however very less were born in Sita's mind towards Ravana after his death. But she was a Sati of higher degree and such distractions were not even a particle before her height. Still God Vishnu who is the protector and nourisher of all living beings noticed this and as said "Vipattis or Calamities are boons of Narayan" he gave a Vipatti to Lord Rama so that flow of sympathy is diverted toward Rama in minds of Sita with higher intensities. A hidden help of a God for a Sati. A hidden help of a God towards Rama so that they can remain in heaven forever happily as he promised them in her prayers in Panchvati.

So entirely Lord Rama is still a diamond and Sita is also the same if some one looks wrong doer it is Lord Vishnu who manages the Vidhans of all living creatures but from above and third reason it will be clear that what he does he does for the good of that life.So please dont cast your anger on Rama. There are certain depths of nature which only the Trinity knows and so they have to perform cruel acts but their hearts are clean, pious and they are undoubtly supreme and worthy of worshipping.

What we can do is not give up and trust them endlessly...them means Brahma, Vishnu & Mahesh.

  15. good question. one i have thought to ask.

  16. Cool dude..its just a mythological story.

  17. Dear friend,

First believe that Ramayana is not a story written for time pass.It is one of the Greatest Epics .

The Lord Vishnu has taken up the form of Sri Rama ( incarnation) and Maata Lakshmi was Sita.

Rama is born to Dasaratha to prove to all Mankind HOW A HUMAN BEING SHOULD LIVE IDEALLY ,As A  SON,BROTHER,HUSBAND,FATHER,DISCIPLE AND AS A KING.

Ramo Vigrahavaan Dharmah ( sri Rama is the embodiment of Dharma , the righeousness.

A king should always be blemish-less.He should be uncorrupt and have an IDEAL CHARACTER.

Otherwise te subjects, the people in the kingdom look down upon him. They will be also uncorrupt and the King can not impose Law and order , if he is not PERFECT.

Sri Rama and Sita Maata both know the truth. But Sri Rama Is a king and Sita was in Sri Lanka, abducted by Raavana. It was not her fault, she was forcibly taken away to Lanka.

But the subjects of sri Rama do not know thatSita Maata came out of the AGNI PAREEKSHA , pure and sacred. All do not know it and there were some who are mean and prattled that Rama was lusty after Suta maata , that even though she was in Lanka for 12 Months with Ravana , Sri Rama was after herbeauty and taken her as wife agiain.

A king should value the public image  first.otherwise , he loses moral grip.

so he decided to leave Sita in the Forest.Note that HE does have all the LOVE AND AFFECTION TOWARDS SITA.But that is not known to all the subjects.

Friend,to understand Ramayana is Vey very difficult.it requires a Guru tell the secrets in it.every event conveys some noble secrets in the indirect way.You have to read it wth inner self. Not like a novel. The characters in Ramayana are not the characters we come across in a novel. Each character is there to give a message to us.

Sita Maata was pregnant then, when Sri Rama sent her to forest.

Sri Rama knew it and HE gave instructions to Lakshmana to leave Sita Maata near sri valmiki aashram. Why?

When Sita maata delivers , the children she was going to deliver after some time will sure know that she was left in forest by her husband unceremoniously, while she was pregnant,Sri Raama knew that Valmiki the brahmarshi will educate the children in the right direction  and tell the moral story  correctly so that the children will not see their father as an enemy, immoral husband  or an irresponsible husband.Rightly so both LAVA and KUSHA  learnt Ramayana from Sage Valmiki correctly and loved sri rama so dearly.Sita Maata never hated Rama,She knew why Sri Rama came to earth and why She came to earth.Shew knew ramayana well before it happened.

He was an I deal king, an ideal husband, an Ideal brother, an Ideal friend , an Ideal enemy, an ideal figure in any aspect.

So do not come to a conclusion by reading one or two times or by seeing the distorted stories filmed.

The great Poet who wrotte Ramayana Kalpa Vrikham , a great Epic ,

after labouring for nearly forty years to write the Great epic in TELUGU, himself said that '' he does not fully understand ramayana''

then how much we know? What is our knowledge?are we fit to comment about Ramayana?No.NEVER.

Please read again , again and again....you may understand.

    May Sri Rama Bless you.

    Jai Sri Ram.
