I am so scared I'm going to gain weight from this...?

Today I ate a salad with ranch dressing and a small can of chicken noodle soup (140 calories). I'm afraid that I'm going to gain weight.

But more importantly, I'm afraid I'm progressing into something like anorexia.

It used to not bother me to eat that much. But when I ate the can of soup, I felt so terrible. What should I do about this? Did I eat okay for today?

  1. Good lord, you're already annorexic. You are telling me that you are afraid because you ate SALAD AND SOUP? Talk to a doctor fast.

  3. These are huge warning signs. You should get some help before it becomes a big problem. If you are under 18, tell someone you trust like your parents or a counselor about how you have been feeling and they will be able to get you some counseling. If you are over 18, contact a support group. If you're in college there are always counseling centers on campus. Otherwise look for one in your community.  

  4. 2,000 calories a day is the average for healthy calorie intake

    it depends on what else you ate that day... but I think with all do respect you are over-reacting about a salad and soup

    140 calories is NOT bad at all

    think about what other people eat... about 2,000 calories in one meal (mcdonalds large combos)

  6. That sounds like a perfectly balanced meal to me.

    If you just eat healthily and try to do more exercise, NOT TOO MUCH!, then you won't gain weight.

    And also make sure you eat 3 meals at least per day.

    Or 6 smaller meals spaced out.


  7. personally i think you should visit a doctor if your worried about anorexia. Anorexia is very unhealthy and something that should monitored. If your worried about gaining  weight look up the food guide it'll tell you what to eat and what not to eat.

  8. if you are getting fat then eat green tea or chinese tea that's what i do
