  1. That was nothing I lived in Northridge in 94 down the street from the collapsed apartment building , that was some serious shaking , this Quake today is the biggest we have had since 1994 , I grew up in the Mid West I would rather deal with Earthquakes than Tornadoes any day .

  2. Scared of what? The earth shook then it stopped. Big deal! Far better than watching a tornado bear down on you. Or waiting for a flood or hurricane to wash your house away. It lasted 10 seconds at most. Voila, it over. The perfect natural disaster.

  3. Earthquakes aren't so bad. Imagine tornado's/twisters...those things freak me out.

  4. You'll get used to them. In another year, you'll be a blase Californian and know whether to ignore the tremor or to get into a doorway or small room.

  5. you mean todays earthquake ?

it wasnt soo bad it actually felt like a nice little shake (:

no big deal u should be afraid of the 8.1 thats coming soon .

but no worries !!! so why would u even move to california if you know that its a earthquake state ?

  6. Yeah earthquakes and thunder/lighting seem the least scariest, but little ones arent so bad. My worst fear of natural disaster are tornados and tsunami's; Tornados are way more unpredictable and tsunamis are probably more dangerous than any disaster if you live near the ocean. And hurricanes, you have somewhat of control because its not instantanous like these other disasters.

However, i would not like to be in an earthquake like the one in China just recently; those are the earthquakes you have to watch out for.
