  1. Shut off the computer and drawing or writing or something. Use your creativity and brain.

  2. Add me on msn an we can talk. andrew_cas@hotmail.com

  3. I suggest you visit a senior lady in your community. Not the "old people's home."   When I was your age, I think I learned more from the elders in my community than from school.  You must remember people in New York City are say "I am soo bored."   For those of us living in the backwater, there is tendency to join the crowd who thinks "there is nothing to do."  Make some quality friends. Find a physical sport that is fun for you and not a competitive ordeal.  To steal one of the other posters suggestion cut back on your your computer time.  Turn off the computer and the TV.  There is a lot more to life.  I am encouraged that you are not a typical teen with a "I cannot live without him" streak of emotion.  You need to look upon all the people you meet as a source of learning.  Now shut it down and get out there among the other people!!  We all had a bit your feeling at your age.  Good luck.

  4. you could play board games with friends.  Have some of your friends over and you could have a potluck with them.

  5. Try going to the craft store if you want a new hobby.  They have many craft projects you can try,  many even offer classes.

  6. well it depends what youuu like...

    if you are...

Creative: try video games, designing stuff, collecting things, doing art, going on the computer, taking pics.

Athletic: try jogging, sports, hiking, walking with friends, swimming, and taking fun trips.

Social: try buying a pet, hanging out with friends, talking on the phone, going shopping with friends, and laughing (:

haha well i hope those ideas helped. i am sure you have a hobby! you just never thought about it that hard before! go through this list i am sure there is something on here that you enjoy! hopee i could help! (:

  7. You should totally get into sewing.  If you're serious, your parents might buy you a starter machine, and fabric and materials aren't that costly.

The majority of the "cost" will be time spent designing your own clothing and making it -- but that's exactly what you're looking for (the hobby aspect).

At first, you will suck, which is perfectly normal.  You should buy some patterns first, so you can start to get a feel for the tricks used, and get basic skills in following lines on the machine, and how different stitch types work.  Then you will improve, and soon, you'll be able to make your own designs, and let's face it -- what's cooler than your own custom-designed clothing?  s***w those expensive designer labels -- you can make one-of-a-kind originals your friends will kill for!  Soon, you might even start getting requests... :-D

It's so much better than mindless Java games on the Internet or whatever.

There are so many things that you can do - begin a journal; write poetry, fiction, non-fiction or fan-fiction for your favorite movies or TV shows - the are a ton of sites all over the Internet for fan fiction to help get you started; read; do crossword puzzles; build models - air planes, ships/boats, doll furniture, etc; take horseback riding lessons, singing lessons or learn an instrument; teach yourself some basic computer programing; learn to make jewelry such as earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc; bake; volunteer at a local community center of kids and/or elderly; learn how to play Majong or Canasta - you can play these on the Net; Photography - both taking pictures as well as learning how to develop your own film; swim... the options are endless.
