I am spending the weekend in Zurich on business staying over the weekend, any suggestions on what I should do?

I will be in Zurich on business in a few weeks. I will be staying over the weekend with no plans. What should I do? Not looking to spend a lot of money and I will be there by myself. I was thinking about renting a bicycle and touring the town. Not really keen on skiing.... low key hanging out and taking it easy. I have never been to Europe before so and it is on the company so I am not hard pressed to do everything.... perhaps just the best things. Thanks for your thoughts....

Go to Interlaken - 3 hours by train. The best place in Swiss.

good suggestion kirlak, but the "blinde kuh" as the restaurant is called in german is usually fully booked some months in advance! but you might try going there for lunch instead of dinner.

In Zurich, there is a unique restaurant called Blind Cow ( Sorry, I forgot German Translation). All waiters and cooks are 100% blind or vision impaired!!!! The food is rather average, but the experience is very unique - as you will eat in absolute darkness. Cashier is the only person who can see! I think, this is the only such place in the world! Do try it.

there are plenty of theatres and museums, very good restaurants, if the ships already are in service, take a boat across lake zurich. have breakfast at cafe schober. go to sprüngli and buy choccies till you drop, the same with teuscher. also lots of concerts. you see, i don't think you will be bored.

Interlaken is nice and refreshing
