I am standing up in my best friends wedding...I have to give a speech!?

I am so nervous...can anybody give me any ideas for a good speech? I have never done this before.

Speak from your heart. Write down your favorite memories of your friendship. Then choose 2 or 3 best ones and talk about them.

Maybe if you ever went on a vaca together, share your happy memories.

I had the same problem at my sisters wedding.  You might want to go to Barnes & Noble.  They have a lot of books about speeches, what to say and what not to say.

Why not tell everyone why she is a good friend. Don't worry about you being neverious- it is her day. Recall special events that you remember everytime you think about her. Tell her new husband why he is lucky to have her. Remind her of some of her quirks to not do with her new guy. Just be real and tell everyone why you like her.pp
