  1. Ok I'm going try to help you :). First of all don't be worried its fine. For your first question middle school was fine for me. To tell you the truth it was 10 times better then Elementary. You get to move around instead of sitting in the same class almost the whole day. Also i made my best friends ever. By the way I'm in 7th grade i started last year in 6th. One more thing...the food in my middle school is amazing compared to Elementary. Anyway moving on tips for you is be yourself. Dont try to be popular its just dumb. I dont consider myself a dork but Im not in the popular crowd. Moving on to lockers i cant say much because my schools lockers are tiny but the locker combos get easier each day. Lockers are helpful because my school you cant carry your backpack around. Now friends. I love my friends i made last year. At first i was worried because no one i knew was in my homeroom but then i met my two bestfriends and they made 6th grade the best! Friends are my everything in school. Find good friends who like you for who you are. Do not hang out with the popular crowd just to be cool. Trust me its boring i tried it. Unless your friend is popular which mine arent lol :). Also if older kids make fun of you IGNORE them. Last year the 7th graders were the worst to us 6th graders. My locker was right next to them and i learned to ignore people. As for schedules they are very easy to adapt to. Especially if your friend is in that class. All my classes last year were very close to each other expect one. Heres a big tip do not waste time between classes because its not good to be late. What im saying is do not sit there for 5 minutes talking to your friend before class and if your going to be late get a late pass. I had a teacher that said if we werent in class by 9:14 then we had dentention so i wasted no time :P. Not trying to get worried that teacher only did that because kids were like 20 min late to class without late passes. I guess thats it really. I hope i helped!!! I try :).

  2. well personally i enjoyed middle better than high school! even though i had my fair share of drama. you are still young. don't worry about what everyone else is thinking, and especially don't worry about boys yet. Just have fun and be yourself! that's all you can do, and IF you do that you'll be sure to meet the right people along the way!

as for lockers and schedules. there were no lockers at my school. and all your classes should be pretty close to each other, so don't sweat it!

  3. hey i am going in to freshman this year and am sort of nervous

i didnt like middle school becasue teachers hated me and i would get kicked out of class for no reason at all because i have done some dumb(but funny) stuff and had really bad grades when i was in 6 and 7 grade

lockers are probaby one of your least worries

    watch out for drama

drama is a bunch of bullshit but somehow we always get shoved in the middle of it and you dont want to be involved with that

so good luck and have fun

  4. I like to type so sorry if I overdo my answer

    1. I'm still in middle school. I just finished my first year, and I'm goin to seventh grade. My first year in middle was AWESOME. On your first day of school, you walk in and you see all those lockers and how different everything is, and you will be so happy you're goin to that school. I remember when I first got my schedule, I felt so grown up lol. Middle school is really fun and its so different. It felt so weird gettin up to go to another classroom after like an hour instead of just seein the same old teacher all day. Lots of drama though

    2. Just be yourself. Dress nicely and don't be a teachers pet and suck up to the teacher. Don't change yourself for anybody. If you're gonna be in a clique, don't get involved with a group of people who get in trouble alot, cause people change over the summer.

    3. Lockers is probably one of the best parts of middle school. They are alot better then those desks with the little space under it for books and pencils and all that what not. There is much more space under the desk now. Lockers can also be decorated, so make it pretty. Sometimes, you get a locker next to a person you don't like. If this happens, ask the school to change your locker. You might also have a gym locker, so don't forget the combination for either

    4. Friends come and go, so don't expect for all your friends from elementary to still be your friends in middle. Again, people change over the summer. They could be really mean now and could been the nicest person before, so prepare to lose some friends and make some new ones. Join clubs to increase your number of friends.

    5. Schedules are another great part. If you don't like a teacher, you wont have them for very long. Now you can switch classes. Make sure that you always remember your schedule, and try to remember it as time goes by so you wont have to look at it every time you switch a class.

Homework: The homework load will definitely get bigger and take longer. The amount of homework you used to get in elementary, will probably be the amount you get in each class, and you might have about 6-9 classes.

Yup, I overdid it. somehow, i knew i would. Hope I helped

  5. haha, ok...first of all, relax. this is a big step and it won't make it any easier if you're stressed.

lockers: step one...locker number...step two...memorize your combination. if you're worried about this, write it down where only you know where it is and it's easy to access from school (like on a random page in a planner)...that helped me when i was in middle school

    (imma sophomore now)

friends: only one thing...be yourself. everything else will fall into place. try not to be extremely shy.

schedules: keep it with you always until you memorize your classes. also try to make special times of the day when to go to your locker. going to your locker between ever class is hard and unnecessary.

there you go...**** luck girl, you'll do perfectly fine :)

  6. its very easy. For me 7th grade was the easiest. I got good grades made better friends. Just be yourself and dont worry about anything. Its going to be like 6th grade but a whole lot better. Relax and everything will be okay.

  7. My middle school experiance was great!

    Tips:

    -study for tests

    -do your homework

-do not be affraid to ask teachers for help

-its alot easier to do homework in a quiet place, i tried a bed.. not smart, lol

    -stay organized

    -have fun

    -learn

    -be open minded

    Lockers:

-practice ur comb alot before school starts

-if your worried you'll forget, write the comb and put it in your pocket

    -personalize with pictures and magnets

-keep it organized so you don't have trouble finding things before class

    -lockers are great =]

    Friends:

    - friends are a must through those years, make as many as you can

-if people expect you to change for them and don't except you as you are, they arent your friends

-don't judge people quickly, you'll regret it

-some of these people may be your friends through highschool!

    -be nice and be yourself

    schedules:

-they are easy to read but if you need help ask a kid in a higher grade

Hope I helped! I you want anything else just email or post another Q in ur edit

  8. Middle school was cool, High School has been even better though. Just be yourself, whoever that may be. Don't try to be something you're not, or something you only think is "cool" You will look back and think you were so stupid! Maybe you won't... but I sure did!

  9. I didn't go to middle school, but it was junior high, and that's basically the same thing.

Early teen years are very different from later teen years, so don't expect big changes except for the occasional girl trying to act like she's all grown up. Just be yourself and grow up at your own pace.

Middle school is... interesting. It'll be a little intimidating at first, but you'll get used to it fast. You'll get a lot more homework (at least I did) after about the first week, and popularity becomes very important, of course. Every school is different, and some are less clique-ish than others, but you'll find out about your school pretty fast.

Just be true to yourself (I know you've heard it a million times, but really think about what it means when you face things like peer pressure, rumors, friend issues, boys, and everything else), and try to be a good person. Be a good friend and you'll get good friends in return. They'll really help you through, so be sure to find "true" friends. A lot of people end up being fake in middle school, less than in high school, mainly because they think it's cool to be bitchy and petty and shallow. Trust me, it's not. You'll get sick of all those people, so try to stick with the real people.

Lockers are different in every school. If you have a partner, do your best to hurry and find one you like, or want to get to know.

Friends: Basically, everything I've said before. Really look for true people; it's a lot less stressful than just looking for the most popular girl in the class. Resist the temptation. Also, rumors. Don't spread them, and don't listen to them. They'll get said about you, and it'll bug you. But just try to be above it, and act as if it doesn't matter, because it doesn't. People will realize that after a while.

Schedules? Hmm. Not much really to say. You'll find your classes soon enough, and don't be afraid to ask teachers, classmates, or just follow people in the same class around. There's not much you can do about schedules, but if you do have a real problem, talk to someone in the school office about it.

I hope I've helped you out a little bit, but if you have any other questions, be sure to ask! =)

  10. First let me say "Dont be scared" you'll be fine. Just be yourself..try not to gossip too much. Try to get involved with scholl activites..that way everyone will know you, and you will have more friends. Dont be influenced and do drugs. Alot of kids in middle school experiment with that..and it's not cool. And becareful with the guys..they just think about s*x. So the main thing is to get yourself involved with the school, and have fun!!

  11. Middle School was no big deal for me, I was nervous but it turned out it wasn't so bad. I was mainly just really worried about not knowing where classrooms were and looking like a fool, but since everyone in your class has the same classes(where i live), just follow the crowd. I like lockers better than the storing stuff in desk system, you can personalize it and etc. Just don't worry about lockers they are nothing to worry about. For schedules just follow the crowd untill you know where the classes are. I made my best friends to date on the first few days of grade 7, I just tried to sit with people I know and talk to people around me after the first day and at lunch.

I just finished middle school and I'm moving on to highschool. (I live in Canada, and our system is elementry 1-6, jr high 7-9(middle school for you i'm assuming), highschool 10-12)

I'm nervous moving onto a new level. ALOT changes when you change levels I have noticed. When I stepped into gr 7, after a week I noticed everyone I knew shifted into their own groups and everyone was so different.

You have nothing to worry about, I hope I'm worrying for nothing when I go to highschool in a month.
