I am starting a car washing business how much should i charge for small, mid, and large cars?

  1. Review what your local competition is charging and price accordingly. Most car washes don't charge extra based on the size of the car (except for large very large trucks). My thought would be to charge one set price for washing the outside, and an extra fee for vacuuming the inside and washing inside windows.

    My 12 year old son made about $50 per day, working a couple hours each day, washing car windows only. He charged like a dollar and hug out in the parking lot of grocery stores with a bucket and squeegie.


  2. You need to find out what others charge in your area, because there's no fixed price. Ask your parents or a friend with a car to go around and check prices.

    If you can charge a little less, you may get more business.
