I am starting a recruiting firm in India and would like to know what are the terms of service? how much should be a percentage of service that should be taken from the client, in return of placing a candidate?and what are other things that needs to be taken care of?

  2. First my wishes for your new wishes. Not everyone start business by knowing everything. But try to know the fundas of this industry.

    Recruitment firm in India:

    Is your firm going to serve Indian clients or clients abroad?

    Billing can be done in two ways,

    1. If a candidate gets shortlisted u can levy one rate

    2. If a candidate gets selected u can levey different rate

    Try to conduct a research to understand this industry. get to know people in such firms and try to get details from there.

    Other things to be taken care is,

    Make sure what kind of clients you are going to serve, I mean which vertical. Because IT sourcing will be different from sourcing for a manufacturing sector.

  3. It depends on the type of Industry you are recruiting for

    One month salary or two month salary............ for adhoc recruitment.

    However, for regular Clients, if turn over is large ( in Call Center and Hospitality sector) you may work out a different packages.

    You shall check industry trend, too.

  4. you are not clear if what exact business, i mean recruiting for what purpose are you going to start.  Be clear and ask the question in detail.
