I am starting high school and i was wondering what hairstyle should i have? ?

you should leave it the way it is. it will be long enough that you can try to put it up in different ways. if you have naturally straight hair then lucky you, but if you have curly hair try to come up with styles that you can just put product in your hair to make it curlier, like a curly pony. i straighten my hair for school and it takes forever. keep it simple you'll have alot to more to worry about than just your hair.

Any style that's easy to maintain and quick to make presentable in the morning! They'll be too much else for you to think about when you start high school for you to be worrying about your hair everyday.

Cool sounds similar to my hair

maybe try some loose braids that fall loose with a thin headband? I love that look. I might use it on the 1st day of school

It does not matter what sort of hairstyle you have as log as it is easy to manage. You say your hair is layered  and just past the shoulders so l would get it cut short and if you still wish to have it kept layered then go for it as you will not want it all over your face when you are doing your studies so l would not go for a fringe as you will get hot as it grows and drives you mad when leaning over your books and there will be plenty of them. Of course don,t forget the showers after sports you do not want it dangling over your face. Also you have periods to worry about lf you have not already started. Take a trip to the hairdressers befor you start high school and then enjoy growing up and good luck with your studies as there will be plenty of homework just knuckle down healthy diet and early nightsand enjoy a Saturday night and early night Saturday and you will be top of the class.
