I am starting the Stock market Game. What do you suggest I should invest in?

I am in a team of 3 others and of course we are researching for good companies! It would be suicide to not research! But, we are looking for a place to start. What do you think?

I have mine invested in insurance with a fixed rate. It only pay 5% but I have not lost a dime in 8 years. My motto is, better to be safe than sorry later.

Fine a good program that will lay out each sector, very plainly. And then pick which ever sector seems to be going up.
