My wedding is on November 1st. I've got just under 11 weeks to go and I'm feeling so many different things from happiness, excitment to...a nervous wreck everytime I think about it. I've got butterflies now. I know he's 'the one' so thats not my problem. Its all starting to feel real and the planning isdoing my head in. lol Is this normal? Please share your thoughts and experiences!?

Thank you :)

  3. My wedding is in two weeks.

I'm not nervuous, but stressed out about all the little details and the timme that I have left to do it.

    You'll be fine....congrats!

  4. Proposal - Happy of course since you know hes the one

Wedding - Butterflies and mix emotions are all part of planning something you want to be perfect. Of course its normal cause this wedding .. is your wedding. but don't freak out over it though, if it starts to get to you, just relax and talk to someone close on there thoughts. its always better for  someone to reassure you to relieve that stress.

  5. I know how you feel. This is normal. I'm getting married on september 27 08. Every time I think about it I get nerves. I  think about how I'm going to feel when i walk down that isle. I'm I going to cry while walking down. Its getting really close for me I have 6 weeks and 4 days. Wow! I cant believe this is really happening.

  6. Dont worry, EVRYONE has this.

Just keep in mind how beautiful your special day will be and everything will be alright.

    Congrats :)

  7. it's absolutely normal...almost everyone goes through these feelings but trust me when you look back at this period you'll wish it had lasted longer! Try and make the most of it...spend your time day dreaming, pamper yourself, spend time with your family and enjoy every moment. I read chicken soup for the brides soul in the months preceding my wedding...I'd say it's a must read for every bride to be. Also read some testimonies of happy weddings, it'll give you a lot of confidence. Try the following link, most of the articles here are good-

  8. It's perfectly normal. It's funny, I started to FREAK out on the way to my wedding, I was thinking OMG, what if he isn't there?? I was so nervous. LOL. You'll be nervous all the way until it's over. Don't worry and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

  9. The weeks just before my wedding were the worst. I was wishing I had just eloped or gotten a wedding planner, because I was so upset that I wasn't able to enjoy the whole process. I know how stressful it is... what you need is a good friend (or in my case, mom) who will not only help you get your stuff together, but will allow you to vent and still love you in your grouchy state.

My advice? Keep things in perspective. Towards the very last few weeks, rather than stress yourself out completely trying to get everything done, cut out what you don't need (in my case, menu cards) and concentrate on the things you can't do without (in my case, programs, directions to the reception, and favors).

Remember what's really important here... the beginning of a lifetime together with the one you love. Trust me, no matter how hard you try, something will not go as planned (in my case, I forgot the garter and we both forgot to pack overnight bags... not many Brides get to put on their wedding dress the next day!). But you know what? Those quirky moments are the ones that will make you laugh later... and if you're really tuned into what the wedding day is all about, you'll be able to laugh about it on your wedding day.

    Just breathe...

  10. Yes - totally normal - just stay calm, plan as much as you can, make lists, talk to friends that had one recently, have them go over your planning / lists. And remember - even if everything mixes up, you will still have a wonderful time - as long as you dont forget to have the in-laws picked up at their hotel (so even I forget).

  11. ya its the BIG bad commitment monster. OOOH whtcha gonna do now its gonna get ya r u gonna run or r ya gonna stay put?HHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM?
