I am staying at the New York Marriott Marquis?

Is it a nice hotel? What are some things to do around it? I am there for 3 days.

That hotel is great, whenever I stay in Manhattan, I never stay anywhere else. You're right on Broadway, Times Square is within walking distance, you couldn't pick a better hotel to stay at in Manhattan.

In manhattan? Be sure and ask for a view of Times Square, if possible. We stayed there and had an EXCELLENT view of everything below!! They of course have "The View" restaurant. You HAVE to take advantage of that. Also, the breakfast buffet is excellent. =)

It's a very nice hotel, right in the middle of midtown and Times Square.  The main thing to do right around the hotel is shopping and going to theaters, but all of the other attractions of Manhattan (Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Statue of Liberty, etc.) are either in easy walking distance or a short subway ride away.
