I am staying in Gennevilliers for a week in July. How accessible are taxis and what is average cost?

I am staying at campanile in Gennevilliers for a week in July and wondered how easy the transport to and from Paris is.

Also, how easy are taxi's to hire and what the likely cost of the trip for one of these?

From Gennevilliers you can go easily to Paris by the subway (ligne 13) and there are many buses too.

Having a taxi in Gennevilliers is less easy than in Paris but it's possible (you can also take the phone number of a great company and you have one in less than 10 minutes : for exemple taxi G7 : 01 47 39 47 39 )

I think the cost is about 20 € (maxi) for a trip from Gennevilliers to Paris

DO NOT GO ON A TAXI WHATEVER YOU DO.

Paris to Airport- 60 Euros, use the metro, train or tramway. Go on a taxi to a bigger town (how big is this city) from this one your likely to stop in Lion, Lille, Brest, Nante, Strasburg or some other city and then from whatever Gare, take a taxi if you have a lot of lugagge, but otherwise, if your a backpacker, make sure to USE THE METRO.
