I am still getting emails from a group I unsubscribed to even when I put the group name as spam. what can I do

Although I posted the group name under options to block emails from the group and I have unsubscribed, I am still receiving them. Is there anything I can do to stop it?

leaving a group via the unsubscibe e-mail is faulty, if that's the only way you left the group, you will need the help form

Sign in to the Yahoo Groups home page ( http://groups.yahoo.com/ ).  After you've signed in, you'll see a list of your Groups on the left-hand side of the page.  Click on the name of the one you want to unsubscribe from.  Then click the Edit Membership link near the middle of the top line (just below the ad if there is one).  Then click the Leave Group button down in the lower-right-hand corner of the page.  Then follow the directions on the resulting page.

Note that this method works quicker than sending an e-mail to the Group's unsubscribe address.
