  1. I will try to write very honestly to be of help yourg man, but I'm not sure if you can understand what I want to say because of my poor English.

    Please read below carefully.

Honestly, black girls tend to accepted and warmly treated by Japanese people, but black guys are tend to rejected. I'm regret to say this but it is from both, uncomprehension of Japanese for colored people, and some bad memories for American army of occupation.

Black American reminds of only American Army for many Japanese, and they beleive they often commit crime. Actually, many Japanese fear black men (only men, not women).

Many Japanese well understand that racial bias is bad attitude to the others, but they can do nothing for their emotion described above.

Even Arericans have been lived in Japan long might not have a chance to hear that, but I'm trying to say what Japanese always feel in fact.

This is sad thing but true, If a school girl ask her father if she can to go out with black man from America, her father will hesitate to allow it.

Only you can change the impression and attetude of others for you.

The key to go well with Japanese people is poleteness.

If you will act like very polite person in first month, other students will accept you and you can make many friend, even girl fiends.

Originally, many Japanese today hate racial prejudice, then all you have to do is making people around you understand your personality regardless of your skin.

    My advice is only this.

Be polite, always poleter than white people from America.

  2. I was recently in Okinawa (prefect of Japan) and the people were wonderful and awesome, even though they don't like Americans. But they dislike the "japenese" more than they dislike Americans. (Okinawans don't consider themselves Japaense).   Just be polite, courtesous, cheerful and quiet in public.  That will help alot. Also, I assume you already know Japenese? if not, please learn some phrases like "ara-gato" (thank you) and bow alot.
