I also am trying to decide between Seville or Valencia. Answers from people who have studied there with any program would be appreciated! Thank you!

  1. Seville!  I studied there with CIEE.  Granted, it was 10 years ago but you won't be disappointed in the city.  A friend of mine studied in Valencia around the same time and had a good experience but Seville is a very special city in my opinion.

I had a good experience with CIEE but API and ISA are also respected programs.  I know some of the staff at the ISA office in Texas and they are great.  Good luck!

  2. I don't know anything about those programs.  Are they High School or College oriented?

I want to put my vote in for Sevilla.  I lived there for a year in University, and I must say it is the prettiest city I have been in.  It is warm, and romantic, colorful.  LOVED it!

I would also caution you that if you are at University, you should DEFINITELY consider doing the whole year.  The experience and the language acquisition are SO MUCH higher than a semester.

    Enjoy your trip!

  3. I didnt go to Spain but i went to Ireland with API and i loved it, they were really helpful and have a great staff.  They usually include trips that you do as a group when you get there in the price, however one of our trips was to somewhere all of us had been so we did something else, they are really flexible like that.  I though API was great but thats just me.  Good luck and have a great time.

  4. i would say API and between seville and valencia? well, i dunno valencia has..oranges? i would choose seville if i were you it just seems like a much greater place than valencia at least from i what has seen. but i am pretty sure they both have a lot to offer.
