I am suddenly getting 'bad signal' messages on Freeview channels 5, 35 and 36. All other channels are OK

  1. Dont worry, its normal, i get it now and again!!!


  2. Mine (different make) does that all of the time.

    It's usually Channel 3, 4 and their 'sister' channels.

    I think it's to do with the weather....

  3. These are all put out by channel 5 which uses a different transponder on the transmitter.  It's possible yours is down.  Crystal Palace seems to be working OK.  Check if your neighbours can get these channels on Freeview.  If they can, retune your box.

  4. I have this problem. It's not the box, it's the aerial. You need to find the right location for it so you recieve all channels clearly. Five ALWAYS gives me problems. It may take a while...

  5. I have a built in tuner on my TV and the ITV and Channel 4 signals are always weaker than BBC. I think it's a problem with the transmitters and not your TV. I'm thinking of buying a good signal booster box to plug my ariel into.
