  1. I suggest you might as well leave golf out with that kind of knee condition. Both knees are used to create a complete golf swing. You might suffer more pain after each round of golf; or just being on the driving range hitting practice balls. In the end you could further aggravate your condition.

  2. 100 dollar words mean take it easy...play lefty for a while

  3. This is not a question you should be looking for an answer to on Yahoo. You should be speaking with your doctor.

  4. you can still play golf unless it involves jumping up and down repeatedly and running . . . oh wait, it's golf so no it doesn't involve major physical activity . . . buy a velcro knee strap and wear it UNDER your pants ~ it will prevent your knee cap from moving laterally and ease the pain and take ibuprofen or naprosyn before hitting the course  . . . good luck

  5. I'm not trying to be a smartass, but this question would best be answered by your doctor.

  6. vikodin

  7. In my opinion...*not professional but pretty close* It's fine to play golf...I don't think it would be unreasonable to play basketball or hockey with chondormalacia...Of course since I live with an orthopod and have always been told to tough it out through the pain it could cause damage but why live if you aren't really gonna live? I currently get a shot of cortisone every few weeks and take lortab for the pain it causes me to golf and then double the dose of lortab for ice hockey...I still do all this on an ankle with hardware installed.

  8. not at all Sir!!! i recommend you to drop playing it just 4a while!

    good luck!

    cheers!
