I am switching grades from 11-12 English to grade 4, any advice?

I am a certified Elementary teacher, but have spent the past four years at the high school.

Get ready for Culture shock. That's a pretty big change. Not many teachers will make that big a jump. Be ready to teach EVERYTHING and know these kids will PROBABLY be alot more attentive than high schoolers.

woah- differentiation is the key in the younger ages and to be so much more clear on yr objectives.

a few years ago i went from high to middle school and love the energy that the kids bring to the table.
