  1. The Omegas themselves have no relevant side-effects, but, as the previous author said,  the fish MAY BE poisoned with stuff  like cadmium, quicksilver, lead; depending on the water-quality; there was even an epidemy around the Minamata-Bay in Japan 1932-1968 .

Ready-made medication or food-supplements from the pharmacy are definitely tested and safe; medication or food-supplements  from the internet aren´t. As the profits with false medications and "life-style products" like Viagra are even higher than those with Heroin, just the same criminal subjects shift to this area.

Even in civilized countries often more than 50% of Internet-medication is falsified; if you are lucky, then you´ll get a product with less content,  more often it´s with no content at all or even with a toxic substance.

Do yourself a favour:  Get medication and health-related substances  from the pharmacy in your hood.

By the way: For example linseed-oil is also rich in Omega3!

  2. You might get a little toxicity from the fish oil because of the habitat in which the fish are farmed/raised.  It could make your liver work harder, which in turn lowers your body's overall ability to heal itself.  Read "spontaneous healing" by Dr. Weil if you want.
